Pakistan Women’s Team Set for Warm-Up Clash Against Thailand

Lahore: The Pakistani women’s cricket team is set to face Thailand in a warm-up match tomorrow at the Lahore City Cricket Association Ground, as they prepare for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifiers. Captain Fatima Sana will lead the home team in the lead-up to the international event.

The qualifiers, beginning on April 9 in Lahore, will feature six teams: hosts Pakistan, alongside Bangladesh, Ireland, Scotland, Thailand, and the West Indies. The tournament will adopt a Single League Round Robin Format, with a total of 15 matches to be held.

Match venues include the Gaddafi Stadium and the Lahore City Cricket Association Ground. Pakistan is slated to meet Ireland in the opening match at the Gaddafi Stadium.

The event marks a significant opportunity for participating teams to compete at a high level and vie for qualification in the coveted ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup.
