Tashkent: In a move to enhance economic cooperation, Pakistan’s Minister for Commerce, Jam Kamal Khan, and Federal Minister for Investment, Abdul Aleem Khan, have arrived in Tashkent. They were welcomed by Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade, Mr. Laziz Kudratov, and Deputy Minister Mr. Shakhrukh.
According to a statement by Press Information Department, the visit is part of a broader initiative led by the Prime Minister’s delegation. Minister Jam Kamal Khan is set to engage in key bilateral meetings focused on strengthening the economic ties between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
A significant event during this visit is the Pakistan-Uzbekistan Business Forum, scheduled for February 26, 2025. The forum aims to explore trade and investment opportunities, fostering stronger business connections between the two countries.
