Pakistan Urges Collaborative Approach to Address SDG Financing Gap


New York: Pakistan has urged for a strengthened collaboration between the public and private sectors to address the financial shortfalls hindering progress toward Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The call was made by Senator Farooq H. Naek during a session at the Inter-Parliamentary Union hearing in New York.



According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Senator Naek emphasized the importance of capacity-building support for developing nations. He pointed out that such assistance is crucial to empower these countries in crafting viable projects that can attract necessary investments.



Pakistan’s initiative highlights a growing recognition of the pivotal role that partnerships between governments and private entities can play in overcoming financial challenges associated with achieving SDGs.
