Pakistan Tests Indigenously Developed Fatah-II Missile System Successfully


Islamabad: Acting President of Pakistan, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, has extended his congratulations to the armed forces and the nation following the successful test of the Fatah-II missile system. The missile, developed by the Pakistan Army Strategic Forces Command, marks a significant advancement in Pakistan’s defense technology and self-reliance.



According to Senate of Pakistan, the Acting President described the test as a major milestone in bolstering the country’s defense capabilities. He emphasized the precision, advanced targeting, and strategic enhancements of the Fatah-II system, which he said, considerably strengthen Pakistan’s defense posture and operational readiness. Additionally, he praised the successful validation of key technical parameters and acknowledged the professionalism of the officers, engineers, and technical teams responsible for the development and testing of the missile.



The Acting President characterized the achievement as a moment of national pride and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening its defense capabilities.
