Islamabad: Energy and Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik emphasized Pakistan’s potential as a hub for mineral resources, specifically highlighting its world-class copper deposits. Speaking at the Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum, Malik extended an invitation to global investors to explore opportunities within the country’s mineral sector.
Malik pointed out that Pakistan boasts significant mineral deposits, including copper, gold, and chromite, with Balochistan being a key area of interest. He assured that the government is actively facilitating the exploration of these resources.
The minister also mentioned that efforts are underway to harmonize the fiscal and legal frameworks to make the investment landscape more attractive. Malik noted that under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership, Pakistan’s economy has reached a point of stability, further enhancing the country’s investment appeal.
