LAHORE: Pakistan’s investment landscape is experiencing renewed growth in industrial development and export-oriented projects, driven by the efforts of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
According to Radio Pakistan, the SIFC’s backing has led to the signing of financing agreements for the initial phase of the Challenge Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Lahore. Covering an area of 99.45 acres, the Challenge SEZ aims to bolster export-oriented manufacturing, particularly in the textile industry, while strengthening the country’s industrial value chain.
The initiative is poised to create new employment opportunities, facilitate technology transfer, and enhance Pakistan’s manufacturing capabilities, marking a significant step in the nation’s economic development strategy.
