RIYADH: Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye have engaged in high-level discussions aimed at enhancing military cooperation, reviewing security concerns, and addressing regional threats. The meeting, held in Riyadh, brought together the Chief of Defence Forces and Chiefs of General Staff from the three nations, all signatories of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement.

According to Radio Pakistan, the participants examined the security situation in Saudi Arabia, expressing strong disapproval of attacks targeting Makkah and critical infrastructure. They acknowledged the Saudi Armed Forces’ efforts in maintaining the nation’s safety and security.

The discussions also focused on advancing cooperation between the armed forces of the three countries, emphasizing intelligence sharing, military coordination, and capability integration. The aim is to bolster deterrence and collective defense measures.

The gathering highlighted the enduring relations and mutual trust among the countries, underscoring the strength of their defense partnership. Participants reaffirmed their commitment to collective defense and expressed their determination to implement the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement’s commitments through effective military collaboration.
