Pakistan Reaffirms Opposition to Chemical Weapons Use

New York: Pakistan has reaffirmed its firm opposition to the use of chemical weapons by anyone under any circumstances, emphasizing its commitment to international norms against such weapons. The statement was delivered by Pakistan’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Usman Jadoon, during a Security Council briefing on the Middle East.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Jadoon articulated Pakistan’s support for universal adherence to the Chemical Weapons Convention, advocating for its full, effective, and non-discriminatory implementation. He further highlighted the importance of strengthening the Convention to uphold global standards against the use of chemical weapons.
