ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, reiterated the nation’s commitment to peace during a seminar at the Institute of Strategic Studies. Tarar emphasized Pakistan’s role as a frontline state in the fight against terrorism, describing the country as a protective barrier between terrorists and the broader global community.
According to Radio Pakistan, Tarar’s remarks were made during the seminar titled “Marka-e-Haq: Victory in the Battlefield and Beyond.” He highlighted discrepancies in India’s narrative following the Pahalgam incident, accusing India of misrepresenting external and internal issues. The Minister also underscored that the Jammu and Kashmir dispute remains an international concern, referencing United Nations resolutions on the matter.
