New York: Pakistan has restated its commitment to Libya’s sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity, and national unity, emphasizing the need for democratic processes to ensure stability in the region. According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Munir Akram, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, underscored the significance of holding free, fair, and transparent presidential and parliamentary elections in Libya. Akram stated that these elections should be a priority to bring about stability and peace.
