Pakistan Railways Revenue Reaches Rs115 Billion Milestone


Islamabad: Pakistan Railways has reported a significant increase in its revenue, reaching Rs115 billion, according to Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi. The revenue growth, described as a milestone by the minister, was attributed to improvements in operational efficiency, particularly in the freight service sector.



According to Radio Pakistan, Abbasi announced the revenue figures during an event in Islamabad, emphasizing the progress made in enhancing the efficiency of the country’s railway operations. He noted that the increase in revenue is a result of strategic efforts to boost the performance of Pakistan Railways.



Abbasi also mentioned that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has recognized and acknowledged the efforts and achievements of Pakistan Railways in reaching this new revenue milestone.
