ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Minister for Education, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, emphasized the significance of the country’s relationship with Ethiopia, highlighting a desire to deepen bilateral cooperation, especially in educational sectors. Siddiqui expressed these sentiments during a discussion with Dr. Oumer Hussien Oba, the Ethiopian Ambassador to Pakistan, in Islamabad.
According to Radio Pakistan, Siddiqui underscored the importance of direct linkages between universities and research institutions in both nations. He suggested that such collaborations would enhance faculty interactions, research partnerships, and provide broader academic exposure for students. The minister’s comments reflect a strategic focus on leveraging educational ties to strengthen the longstanding friendly relations between Pakistan and Ethiopia.
