Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif engaged in a telephonic discussion with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, focusing on enhancing bilateral cooperation and discussing the evolving Middle Eastern geopolitical landscape, particularly Pakistan’s ongoing peace initiatives.
According to Radio Pakistan, during their conversation, Prime Minister Sharif expressed his appreciation for Qatar’s backing of Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving a peaceful resolution to regional conflicts. Both leaders emphasized the necessity of ongoing international collaboration to uphold the ceasefire, avert further tensions, and ensure stability in the region. Additionally, Prime Minister Sharif extended cordial greetings to the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
