Islamabad, Pakistan has reaffirmed its commitment to continue providing highly skilled and professional manpower to aid Qatar’s economic modernization.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, this assurance was given by Jawad Sohrab Malik, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, during his meeting with Qatar’s Minister of State for Interior Affairs, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal Al Thani, in Doha. The meeting focused on reviewing cooperation in security fields and the potential for expanding bilateral collaboration.
Malik highlighted the significant contributions of the Pakistani diaspora in Qatar, particularly in the realm of infrastructure development. He proposed the establishment of additional Qatar Visa Centers in Pakistan to facilitate the mobility of Pakistani workers to Qatar. Furthermore, Malik praised Qatar for its humanitarian efforts and commitments in the Gaza conflict and affirmed Pakistan’s support for Qatar’s stance on these issues.
Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal Al Thani, the Qatari Minister of State for Interior Affairs, acknowledged the vital role played by the Pakistani community in Qatar’s development. He emphasized the shared values and strong ties between the Pakistani and Qatari people.
This meeting underscores the ongoing and deepening relationship between Pakistan and Qatar, particularly in the areas of manpower exchange and shared diplomatic interests.
