Ottawa: The Pakistan Pavilion made a significant impression at the SIAL Canada 2026 food products exhibition held in Montreal, where six prominent exhibitors highlighted the country’s high-quality food offerings. The event, one of the largest food and beverage exhibitions in North America, was marked by an inauguration led by High Commissioner Muhammad Saleem, with Consul General Faisal Abro and Trade and Investment Counselor Altamash Janjua also playing key roles in hosting Canadian government and private sector representatives at the pavilion.
According to Press Information Department, Pakistan’s participation in the three-day exhibition, running from April 29 to May 01, 2026, underscores the nation’s strategic interest in boosting food product exports to Canada. The pavilion served as a crucial platform for Pakistani exporters to engage with international buyers and stakeholders in the agri-food industry, enhancing trade prospects and fostering international business relationships.
