Islamabad: The Pakistan Overseas Women Association (POWA) has announced the appointment of Ms. Misbah Khar as its Patron-in-Chief. Ms. Khar, who currently serves as Advisor to the Chairman Senate of Pakistan, is expected to play a key role in advancing the organization’s mission to empower women and support communities within Pakistan.
According to Senate of Pakistan, Ms. Khar’s leadership, vision, and commitment to public service are anticipated to significantly strengthen POWA’s efforts. Ms. Khar also holds the position of Ambassador for the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference and is acknowledged for her contributions to parliamentary diplomacy and international representation.
