Karachi: Pakistan Navy ships HUNAIN and YARMOOK successfully seized more than 2,800 kilograms of narcotics, valued at approximately USD 750 million, during a joint counter-narcotics operation in the Arabian Sea. The operation, conducted while the ships were on routine patrol, involved intercepting a suspicious boat and recovering the narcotics from its concealed compartments.
According to Inter Services Public Relations, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, NI, NI (M), T Bt, Chief of the Naval Staff, praised the officers and crew for their professionalism and vigilance in executing the operation. He reiterated the Pakistan Navy’s commitment to maritime security and its role in combating illicit trafficking at sea.
