Pakistan Junior Triumphs Over Oman in Opening Hockey Match

Lahore: Pakistan Junior team claimed a narrow victory over Oman in the opening match of their friendly hockey series, winning 4-3 at the National Hockey Stadium. The match, organized by the Pakistan Hockey Federation, saw a standout performance from Muhammad Sufyan Khan, who achieved a hat-trick by scoring three of Pakistan’s four goals.

The match drew notable attendees, including Pakistan Hockey Federation President Mir Tariq Hussain, Secretary General and Olympian Rana Mujahid Ali Khan, as well as other Olympians and senior hockey players. Their presence highlighted the significance of the series for the development of the sport in the region.

The friendly series continues with its second match scheduled for today, with subsequent matches to be held in Islamabad on April 11 and 12, promising more competitive action between the two teams.
