ISLAMABAD: Senior officials from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Egypt convened in Islamabad today as part of ongoing diplomatic efforts following a recent foreign ministers’ consultative meeting. The discussions, aimed at enhancing cooperation among the four nations, were part of a series of engagements leading up to a foreign ministers’ meeting in Antalya, Türkiye.
According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the delegations were led by high-ranking officials, including Ambassador Tahir Andrabi from Pakistan, Ambassador Musa Kulaklikaya from Türkiye, Ambassador Nazih El Naggari from Egypt, and Prince Dr. Abdullah bin Khalid bin Saud Al-Kabeer AlSaud from Saudi Arabia. The outcomes of the Islamabad meeting will be presented at the upcoming Antalya Diplomacy Forum on April 17, 2026.
The senior officials also met with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, and the country’s Foreign Secretary, Ambassador Amna Baloch, as part of their visit. The meeting reflects the continued commitment of the participating countries to strengthen diplomatic ties and address mutual interests.
