Islamabad: A high-level delegation of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) from Gilgit-Baltistan met with Federal Ministers Rana Sanaullah Khan and Engineer Amir Muqam to discuss preparations for the upcoming general elections in Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to Press Information Department, the meeting included detailed consultations on the political situation, organizational matters, and electoral strategy in Gilgit-Baltistan. The delegation comprised former Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan and President PML-N GB Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman, General Secretary Akbar Taban, and former GB Minister Engineer Anwar.
During the meeting, the party leadership emphasized the need to strengthen and activate the organizational structure of the party across Gilgit-Baltistan. It was agreed to field strong candidates in all constituencies while accelerating and streamlining the election campaign.
The participants also agreed on expanding public outreach efforts and ensuring active participation of party workers at all levels to enhance campaign effectiveness. The Federal Ministers assured full cooperation, guidance, and support for the election preparations.
Rana Sanaullah Khan and Engineer Amir Muqam reiterated that the party would continue to advance its agenda of development, public service, and prosperity in Gilgit-Baltistan. The meeting concluded with a resolution that PML-N would contest the upcoming elections with a well-organized and effective strategy.
