Tokyo: Pakistan’s Embassy in Japan recently hosted a GoGlobal event in Tokyo, focusing on the technological advancements and startup ecosystem of Pakistan. The event aimed to foster connections between Pakistan’s burgeoning startup sector and Japan’s innovation-driven communities.

According to Radio Pakistan, the event was organized in collaboration with Minato City Industrial Promotion Center, Asia Web3 Alliance Japan, JICA, Deloitte, PSEB, and Ignite – National Technology Fund. It served as a platform for Pakistan’s startup delegation to engage with participants from Japan’s investment, corporate, and startup sectors.

In his keynote address, Ambassador of Pakistan to Japan, Abdul Hameed, highlighted the progress of Pakistan’s technology ecosystem. He noted that the sector is evolving beyond basic service provision, as it now develops platforms, products, and specialized solutions for international markets.
