Abu Dhabi: The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi held a flag-hoisting ceremony to commemorate Pakistan’s 86th National Day. The event featured the national flag being raised by Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan and included messages from Pakistan’s leadership.
According to Press Information Department, Ambassador Khan spoke about the historical struggle and sacrifices that led to Pakistan’s creation. He stressed the need for unity and harmony to address current challenges. The ambassador also reiterated Pakistan’s support for self-determination in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Ambassador Khan noted the strong ties between Pakistan and the UAE, expressing gratitude for the opportunities provided to the Pakistani community. He urged the community to respect local laws and follow the instructions issued by UAE authorities.
