Islamabad: Pakistan has issued a condemnation of Israel’s ongoing military actions in Lebanon, which have led to substantial civilian casualties and the displacement of nearly half a million people. The Pakistani Foreign Office described the Israeli actions as violations of international law that undermine Lebanon’s government efforts to maintain peace and stability.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Foreign Office’s statement urged the international community to act swiftly to halt Israel’s military operations, citing concerns about the indiscriminate targeting of civilians and violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The statement called for Israel to withdraw from occupied Lebanese territories immediately and without conditions.
Pakistan expressed its solidarity with Lebanon, pledging ongoing support for efforts to achieve lasting peace in Lebanon and the broader region.
