Pakistan Consulate Hosts Iftar Dinner at Dubai Labour Camp, Stresses Community Welfare

Islamabad: The Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai, in conjunction with the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) and Alfardan Exchange, organized an iftar dinner at the Labour Camp in Dulsco Village, Al Quoz, Dubai. This event aimed to foster community welfare and unity during Ramadan.

H.E. Hussain Muhammad, Consul General, toured the camp’s facilities, including the sports grounds and health centers. He engaged with community members, appreciating the amenities provided. He emphasized the spirit of Ramadan, stating, “This blessed month teaches us the values of empathy and collective responsibility.”

Mr. Hussain stressed the importance of formal banking systems for remittances, highlighting their role in Pakistan’s economy and financial security. He praised the Pakistani community’s contributions to the UAE’s development and urged them to continue being exemplary residents.

The event also celebrated Pakistan Day with a cake-cutting ceremony. The Consul General thanked NBP and Alfardan Exchange for their support in this welfare initiative.
