Pakistan Condemns Vandalism at UAE Embassy in Damascus


Islamabad: Pakistan has issued a strong condemnation following an incident involving vandalism and unrest at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Damascus. The Pakistan Foreign Office, in a recent statement, expressed concern over the breach, emphasizing that such acts infringe upon the sanctity and security of diplomatic missions. These missions are protected under international law, including the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, which is designed to uphold the norms of peaceful diplomatic engagement between states.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Foreign Office reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to international law principles and diplomatic norms. It underscored the necessity of maintaining peace, stability, and mutual respect among nations to ensure orderly international relations.
