ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has strongly condemned the recent actions of Israeli forces at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, denouncing the incident as a violation of international law and United Nations resolutions. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad released a statement describing the event as an assault on the sanctity and historical significance of the site.
According to Radio Pakistan, Tahir Andrabi, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, articulated Pakistan’s rejection of any attempts by Israeli authorities to alter the religious, historical, and legal status of Al-Aqsa Mosque. The spokesperson called upon the international community to take effective measures to prevent such provocations in the future.
Pakistan’s statement also reiterated its continued support for the Palestinian cause, advocating for the right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent state based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
