ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, stated that the country has achieved a significant triumph over India across military, diplomatic, and narrative dimensions. According to Radio Pakistan, Tarar made these remarks during an interview with PTV, emphasizing the collaborative efforts of the Ministry of Information, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), and the Pakistani media in countering India’s assertions.
Tarar highlighted the role of Pakistani media in presenting factual reports to counter what he described as India’s false claims. He noted that while Indian media outlets were accused of engaging in sensationalism and misinformation, Pakistani media maintained a focus on fact-based reporting. Tarar pointed out instances where Indian media allegedly reported attacks on fictitious ports in Lahore and Multan, despite both cities being landlocked, as examples of misinformation.
In addition to media efforts, Tarar praised the youth of Pakistan for their proactive role on social media platforms in challenging India’s narrative. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to peace, while cautioning that this should not be misconstrued as a sign of weakness. Tarar concluded by asserting confidence in Pakistan’s robust defense capabilities.
