Quetta: In a display of operational readiness, Pakistan’s Armed Forces successfully intercepted and destroyed four rudimentary drones launched by the Afghan Taliban regime across the border in Balochistan. The incident underscores ongoing tensions between the two neighboring countries.
According to Radio Pakistan, the drones were part of the Afghan Taliban regime’s support of terrorist outfits operating from territories under their control. Security forces effectively neutralized the drones using sophisticated countermeasures. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) highlighted that such actions by the Afghan Taliban exacerbate the hardships faced by the Afghan people. The ISPR also issued a warning, stating that any further provocations would result in a strong response from Pakistan, suggesting significant repercussions for the Afghan Taliban.
