Pakistan and UK Pledge to Strengthen Bilateral Relations with Focus on Trade and Investment


Islamabad: Pakistan and the United Kingdom have reiterated their commitment to enhancing bilateral relations, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, education, and security.



According to Radio Pakistan, this commitment was affirmed during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and UK Minister of State for the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan, and Pakistan Stephen Doughty in Islamabad. The discussions also encompassed regional and international developments, with both parties expressing concern over the evolving situation in the region.



Deputy Prime Minister Dar emphasized the importance of sustained dialogue and diplomacy in addressing regional and global challenges. The two sides also agreed to expedite efforts towards the early operationalization of the Pakistan-UK Bilateral Political Dialogue.
