Islamabad: Pakistan and the United States have renewed their commitment to strengthening educational cooperation and people-to-people ties, focusing on cybersecurity education and capacity building. The meeting, attended by key officials including Federal Minister for Education Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and U.S. Congressmen Michael James Baumgartner and Ryan Keith Zinke, emphasized the importance of specialized cybersecurity courses and partnerships between universities of both countries.

According to Press Information Department, the discussions also highlighted the intent to promote joint research, dual-degree programs, and faculty exchanges, particularly in public health, climate resilience, and technology. The meeting underscored the significance of educational cooperation as a cornerstone of bilateral relations, with a focus on expanding initiatives like the Fulbright Program and other academic exchanges.

Both countries expressed satisfaction with the positive trajectory of their bilateral relationship, emphasizing the need for sustained high-level engagement.
