Pakistan and Turkiye to Enhance Judicial Cooperation with New Agreement

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Turkiye are set to sign a Memorandum of Understanding in Islamabad today to bolster judicial cooperation between the two nations. The agreement aims to facilitate judicial exchanges, capacity building, and the sharing of best practices in adjudication.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Supreme Court of Pakistan is hosting a high-level delegation from the Constitutional Court of Türkiye until Thursday. The delegation is led by Kadir Özkaya, the President of the Turkish Constitutional Court, and includes judges and senior officials. Alongside their official engagements, the delegation will explore Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage with visits to Taxila and the Walled City of Lahore, underscoring the significance of fostering people-to-people connections.
