Pakistan and Türkiye Pledge to Uphold Regional Peace

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Türkiye have jointly pledged to uphold peace and stability in their region, following a telephonic conversation between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. The dialogue underscored the importance of continued collaboration on matters of mutual interest and regional developments.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the conversation, Türkiye’s Foreign Minister acknowledged Pakistan’s significant role in promoting dialogue and diplomacy. The discussion also highlighted the Pakistan-China Five-Point Initiative, emphasizing its potential contributions to fostering peace and stability in the Gulf and Middle East areas.

Both leaders reiterated their dedication to maintaining regional peace and stability, agreeing to keep a close watch on evolving regional scenarios and to remain in constant communication regarding mutual interests.
