ISTANBUL: Pakistan and Türkiye have expressed satisfaction regarding the strengthening and expansion of their bilateral relations across political, economic, security, and cultural domains. This development was highlighted during a meeting between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Istanbul.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting underscored the progress made under the Pakistan-Türkiye High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council framework. Both foreign ministers agreed on the necessity for an early convening of the next session of the Council. They also discussed regional and international issues, reaffirming their commitment to collaborate closely for regional peace and stability.

The meeting was attended by Special Secretary of the United Nations Nabeel Munir, Director General of the United Nations Umar Siddique, First Secretary Qazi Saleem, and Deputy Director to the Foreign Minister Agha Hunain.
