Pakistan and Saudi Arabia Call for Adherence to Lebanon Ceasefire


Islamabad: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have voiced concern over recent ceasefire violations in Lebanon, emphasizing the importance of respecting the ceasefire to maintain regional stability. The issue was discussed during a telephonic conversation between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Ishaq Dar, and Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan.



According to Radio Pakistan, both leaders underscored the urgent need for full compliance with the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon. This move aims to support efforts toward achieving lasting peace and stability in the region. Ishaq Dar also acknowledged Saudi Arabia’s ongoing support for Pakistan’s peace efforts. Both countries agreed to maintain close communication on the matter.
