DOHA: Pakistan and Qatar have reached an agreement to bolster collaboration in the arena of internal security, following a meeting between Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, and Qatari Interior Minister, Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, in Doha.
According to Radio Pakistan, the two officials engaged in detailed discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in the security sector. They explored avenues to further solidify the security partnership between the two nations.
The meeting also involved an exchange of views on the regional situation and issues related to peace and stability. Mohsin Naqvi emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with Qatar in security and other areas of mutual interest. Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani expressed Qatar’s dedication to maintaining strong relations with Pakistan and continuing to work closely to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
