Islamabad: Pakistan and Oman have reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing their bilateral relationship across various fields, as announced following a recent telephonic conversation between top officials from the two nations.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Ishaq Dar, and the Foreign Minister of Oman, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi, engaged in discussions aimed at expanding the existing fraternal ties between the two countries.

The conversation highlighted the mutual desire to explore new avenues for cooperation that would yield beneficial outcomes for both nations.

During the call, issues concerning regional and international peace and security were also addressed. The discussions underscored the importance of collaboration in maintaining stability in the region.

Both leaders extended invitations to visit each other’s countries, agreeing to arrange such visits at the earliest mutually convenient dates.

Additionally, Deputy Prime Minister Dar expressed appreciation toward the Sultanate of Oman for its role in facilitating talks between Iran and the United States, emphasizing Oman’s contribution to international diplomacy.

This reaffirmation of continued cooperation reflects the longstanding relationship between Pakistan and Oman, aiming to promote peace and prosperity in the region.
