Wellington: The fifth and final T20 International of the ongoing series between Pakistan and New Zealand is scheduled to be played today in Wellington. New Zealand currently leads the series 3-1, having secured victories in the first two matches held in Christchurch and Dunedin by margins of 9 and 5 wickets, respectively.
Ahead of the decisive match, Pakistan’s national team engaged in an optional training session at the Basin Reserve. The session focused on refining their batting, bowling, and fielding skills under the supervision of their coaching staff, following a series of warm-up drills.
As the series draws to a close, both teams are preparing for a subsequent three-match ODI series. The first match of the ODI series is set to commence on March 29 in Napier, providing both teams with an opportunity to regroup and strategize for a new format of the game.
