Islamabad: Pakistan and Malaysia have jointly called for a reduction in hostilities in Iran and the Gulf region. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and his Malaysian counterpart, Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim, discussed the issue during a telephonic conversation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to Radio Pakistan, the leaders emphasized the need for peace and harmony in the region and agreed to collaborate on efforts to advance peace. Both leaders also expressed satisfaction with the progress in bilateral relations and reiterated their commitment to strengthening ties between Pakistan and Malaysia.
