Pakistan and Iran to Enhance Cooperation Across Multiple Sectors


ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Iran have agreed to enhance cooperation across multiple sectors following a meeting between Pakistan’s Minister for Petroleum, Ali Pervez Malik, and Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam. The talks, held in Islamabad, focused on strengthening bilateral relations and addressing mutual interests.



According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting provided a platform for both officials to discuss various areas of collaboration. Ambassador Moghadam expressed gratitude for Pakistan’s role in promoting regional peace and stability, acknowledging the efforts of their “Pakistani brothers.” He emphasized Iran’s appreciation for Pakistan’s initiatives toward peace.



Minister Malik reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to peace in the region, highlighting the importance of continued cooperation between the two neighboring countries. The agreement marks a step forward in the ongoing diplomatic relationship between Pakistan and Iran.
