ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Egypt have expressed optimism regarding the upcoming round of talks between Iran and the United States, highlighting their shared aspiration for lasting peace in the region and beyond. This sentiment was conveyed during a phone conversation between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty.

According to Radio Pakistan, the conversation included discussions on significant regional developments, particularly the situation in the Gaza Strip. Deputy Prime Minister Dar underscored the significance of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving issues, reiterating Pakistan’s commitment to fostering peace, stability, and constructive engagement.
