Pakistan and Egypt Celebrate Strong Bilateral Relations, Says Commerce Minister


Islamabad: Pakistan’s Minister for Commerce, Jam Kamal, underscored the enduring relationship between Pakistan and Egypt, highlighting their shared history and mutual respect. Speaking at a ceremony in Islamabad to commemorate Egypt’s National Day, he extended congratulations on behalf of Pakistan’s leadership and citizens.



According to Radio Pakistan, Jam Kamal emphasized the importance Pakistan places on its ties with Egypt, describing the nation as a key ally within the Arab and Muslim world. He noted the close cooperation between the two countries on bilateral, regional, and international matters, particularly in promoting peace and stability.



The minister praised Egypt’s efforts in fostering regional peace and addressing contemporary challenges. He also acknowledged Egypt’s role in facilitating humanitarian aid for Palestine and expressed gratitude for its collaboration in delivering Pakistan’s aid to Gaza. Kamal highlighted Egypt’s support in Pakistan’s health sector and expressed satisfaction with the growing defense cooperation, including training exchanges and high-level military visits.
