Pakistan and China to Strengthen Ties in Trade, Technology, and AI

Shanghai: Pakistan and China have agreed to bolster their collaboration across several key sectors, including trade, investment, science and technology, digital economy, and artificial intelligence. This development followed a meeting between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Shanghai.

According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions focused on expanding the scope of the Pakistan-China bilateral relations. Both parties expressed satisfaction with the ongoing strength and consistent growth of their partnership. They emphasized the significance of advancing high-quality development initiatives under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) 2.0 framework.

The meeting concluded with both countries reaffirming their commitment to deepening the Pakistan-China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership. They also exchanged insights on recent regional and global developments and confirmed their intent to maintain close coordination on issues of mutual interest. Additionally, both leaders reiterated their pledge to continue collaborative efforts at multilateral forums.
