Beijing: Minister of State for IT, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, announced that Pakistan and China are set to deepen their collaboration in the Information Technology and Telecommunications sectors. This declaration was made during her address at the EuroAsia Digital Economy Forum, where she discussed the recent progress and future directions of the IT and Telecom industries in Pakistan.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Khawaja outlined Pakistan’s strides towards a comprehensive digital transformation encompassing the economy, governance, and societal interactions. She emphasized the significant growth witnessed in Pakistan’s IT and Telecom sector in recent years, and highlighted the government’s ongoing efforts to foster a digital environment conducive to modern technological advancements and innovations.
