ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and China have entered into a cooperation agreement aimed at enhancing Pakistan’s cotton output through advanced technology.
The memorandum of understanding was signed between the Ayub Agricultural Research Institute of Pakistan and the Institute of Cotton Research of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. This agreement focuses on the genetic improvement of cotton, a move designed to boost production levels and support the growth of Pakistan’s cotton industry.
