Dhaka: Pakistan and Bangladesh have agreed to bolster their cooperative efforts in trade, business, and culture. This development emerged from a meeting held in Dhaka between Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, and Bangladesh’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Shama Obaed Islam.
According to Radio Pakistan, the two officials discussed the importance of increasing delegation exchanges to strengthen commercial and cultural ties. Their meeting also covered bilateral relations, the regional situation, and Pakistan’s role in fostering peace and stability in the area. Bangladesh’s State Minister noted Pakistan’s mediation efforts in the Iran-US dispute.
The conversation also touched on the upcoming visit of Bangladesh’s Foreign Minister to Pakistan. Minister Naqvi highlighted Pakistan’s potential for foreign investment during the meeting.
