Islamabad: A Bahraini parliamentary delegation, led by Dr. Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, visited the Parliament House in Islamabad on Monday, signaling a mutual commitment to deepen ties between the two nations. The visit aimed to discuss bilateral relations, explore trade opportunities, and promote parliamentary cooperation.
According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Bahraini delegation was warmly received by Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq. The meeting underscored the importance of strengthening parliamentary relations between Pakistan and Bahrain.
Speaker Ayaz Sadiq expressed Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing its relationship with Bahrain, emphasizing the potential for increased collaboration in economic and trade sectors. He highlighted the shared religious, cultural, and historical values that form the foundation of the two countries’ relationship.
Dr. Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives of Bahrain, echoed the desire to bolster cooperation in various fields, including trade and information technology. He pledged the Bahraini Parliament’s support in fostering IT sector collaboration with Pakistan.
