Islamabad: Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to expanding collaboration with Azerbaijan in the petroleum and energy sectors during a meeting with Azerbaijani Ambassador Khazar Farhadov. The meeting, which took place in Islamabad, underscored the growing cooperation between Pakistani companies and Azerbaijan’s State Oil Company, SOCAR.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Farhadov, who was on a farewell visit, expressed his gratitude to the Government and people of Pakistan for their hospitality and support during his tenure. The discussion highlighted significant growth in the energy sector partnership, which both sides aim to further enhance.
