Pakistan Ambassador Highlights Completion of 50 CPEC Projects in Decade

Islamabad, 15 Oct 2023: Moin-ul-Haque, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Beijing, confirmed in a recent interview that over fifty projects, amassing a total value of twenty-five billion dollars, have been concluded under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in the past decade.

Speaking to Belt and Road Television, Ambassador Moin-ul-Haque highlighted the transformative impact of CPEC, pointing out its significant contributions to the socio-economic advancement of Pakistan.

Drawing attention to the profound bond between China and Pakistan, the Ambassador elaborated on the deep-rooted political ties and the unique camaraderie shared by the citizens of both countries. Notably, he expressed his gratification on how Chinese nationals regard Pakistanis as “iron brothers”, a sentiment uniquely reserved for the Pakistani people.

Moin-ul-Haque further underscored the significance of the Belt and Road Forum. He opined that this assembly furnishes a crucial platform for international collaboration, aimed at fostering unity, economic growth, societal welfare, and the eradication of poverty, while also allowing member states to chart future courses based on past accomplishments.
