Islamabad: The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) is backing efforts to boost industrial exports from Pakistan, with Pak Elektron Limited (PEL) marking a significant milestone by exporting its products to the United States.
The first shipment of PEL transformers, a key product of the company, was dispatched to the United States earlier this month on the 13th. This development is part of a broader initiative by SIFC to support the growth and international reach of Pakistani industries.
The initiative underscores SIFC’s commitment to enhancing the country’s export portfolio by facilitating and promoting industrial enterprises in reaching global markets. The collaboration highlights a strategic approach to elevating Pakistan’s industrial presence on the world stage.
Radio Pakistan reported that this marks a noteworthy achievement for PEL, which is taking steps to expand its international footprint through such exports.
