Islamabad, March 13, 2023 (PPI-OT): On dirs. of PM, NDMA sailed off 1st sea cargo through PNS Nasr on 28th Feb 2023. The Ship has reached Syria and was received in a special ceremony. The ceremony was attended by senior most Syrian Naval Command, Syrian Govt Officials incl Edu Min, Governor of Latakia, Pak Amb to Syria, Air Marshal ® Shahid Akhtar, Students and large no of locals.
Attendees chanted anthems in bid to express their gratitude for Pakistani nation. The consignment contained blankets, generators, dry rations, medicines and clothing for the Quake-Hit Syria. After unloading the aid in Syria, the ship will move to Turkiye.
